How it all started
Raised in Puerto Rico, Joan dreamed of walking the runway after she realized she had the right body frame for modeling. True to her own prediction, Joan made her high-fashion debut in January 2010 when she was featured as the exclusive model for Ricardo Tischi’s Givenchy Fall/Winter 2010 Couture Show.
Hailed the “breakout beauty of the modern age,” Joan has already appeared in 40 different shows for the 2010 season.
Joan’s career
In such a short period of time, Joan has already graced the catwalks for famous designers including Marc Jacobs, Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and more. She also has quickly become a favorite among top fashion photographers including, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelie, Mikael Jansson, David Sims and Craig McDean.
